I have long held an interest in wildlife ever since joining the Gould League in primary school and thanks to the incredible influence the late and great naturalist, Harry Butler, had on a generation of young people in the late 1970s.

A love of bushwalking, birdwatching and photography has absorbed me over the years and provided many awe-filled moments. To be wandering in Australia’s wetlands and bush is one of my greatest pleasures and privileges.
